This is Where the Magic Happens!
Originally Braden and I were going to have a destination wedding in California but realized that wasn't a viable option because lots of our family members/friends are too broke, old or physically unable to make the trek.
Next, we decided we would do a city hall wedding and spend all of the wedding budget on a fabulous honeymoon to a far away land (Japan). This idea was a big hit with some people (my parents, our friends) and not such a hit with others (the grandparents).
My mom was the one who came to our rescue! My parents are members at the oldest country club in our city and were able to book the entire club house for free! Usually this venue runs upwards of $2000.00 so we definitely got lucky! We'll be using the large back patio for the ceremony, one of the small banquet halls for the cocktail hour and the large, second floor, dining hall for the reception!
It makes perfect sense for us to get married at a golf course because my parents are such golf fiends and Braden used to be a pro!
